We don't collect any more information than is necessary to make the game and the features you like work, and we don't share any of it with anyone else.

Personal Data

We don't ask for, gather, transmit or store any personal data while you play the demo. We'd like to do the same with the full version, but we need a tiny bit to make things work. We create an account in our database and store your email address when you verify that you have access to the full version. Verification is only through Patreon at the moment, though we may add more options in the future. When communicating with a service that has your personal information, like Patreon, we ask for as little personal information as possible, and only store your email address. We won't send anything to that email address that you don't explicitly ask for. Like all the data, we won't share your email address with anyone else.

Usage Data

The only usage data that are collected are your choices/preferences during the game. These are stored anonymously. We do not collect any information from your browser/device to include with the usage data. And any information that is necessarily sent along with it, like IP address, is not stored. We use Usage data in two ways. One, to show aggregate graphs of game choices to players so they can see how popular their choices were relative to the community. Two, for us to make decisions about what to prioritize. For instance, if we see a certain character is relatively popular, we can write more content for that character.

Cloud Saves

Those with access to the full game can *optionally* store their saved games with us to back them up and synchronize them across multiple devices or browsers. These saves must be associated with your account, as that's the only way we can make that feature work.

It's Your Data; We're Just Storing It

We'll keep your account and cloud saves stored as long as we are still operating. But you can permanently delete any of your cloud saves or your whole account from within the game. The deletion for saves and accounts is an irrevocable process, in the sense that there won't be anything we can do afterwards to bring it back. You could always recreate your account or re-upload a save if you still have it stored locally. You can also contact privacy@amazonleagues.com and request your account and any associated saves be deleted.
